City of D... (1993)

I made myself a small speciality in making video projections for theatres. The first one that had the finances for this was a Danish group called Metropol based in Århus. Wanting to put their free-improvised-theatre aesthetics far behind them, they developed a rather obscure story inspired by Paul Auster novels that they called City of D... I was asked to make three or four entr'acte that would glue the story together.

I filmed the whole thing this in the Danish countryside during a couple of weeks with students from the National Danish film school as the team and the actors from the theatre group.
